Dining in Style on Route 66

Dining in Style on Route 66:

Tableside Service with a Smile

21st-century décor has not altered the quality of a classic vintage menu and service at one ultra-fine dining spot in New Mexico.

Named the best steakhouse in the state, Dinner For Two continues to carry great 1950s-era elegance by offering tableside service for two including Caesar Salad, Chateaubriand, and Bananas Foster.

The Corvette: A Love Story

Which car was your first love?

A Mustang? The Monte Carlo? How about a Corvette?

Pictured above is the 1978 Silver Anniversary Edition – my dream car. The next year (’79) saw the highest production of Vettes in its history.

Chevrolet Corvette sales reportedly doubled after one series hit the airwaves 60 years ago today:

Route 66, an American adventure crime drama thriller-themed series, followed two young men from different backgrounds on a cross-country journey to find themselves – in a Corvette.

The 4-season series originally starred Martin Milner and George Maharis. Glenn Corbett later took over Maharis’ role during the final year of filming. All episodes were filmed in black and white.
